# Privacy

This policy covers this MacMelon website. The Mac apps are summarized only to the extent their product pages already describe them.

## Who we are

MacMelon, founded in 2025, operates this site. Contact harishganapathi@sevenhillshq.com for privacy requests.

We do not sell personal information. We do not run an advertising network on this site.

## Analytics

Optional Google Analytics helps us understand visits and how people use the site. It loads only after you accept analytics. If you decline, it does not load.

When enabled, analytics records page views and interactions such as checkout, download, and language selection. We do not send license keys to analytics. Your preference is saved in your browser; clearing this site’s saved data lets you choose again.

## Purchases

The payment provider identified at checkout handles your payment details. Its privacy policy applies to payment processing. See [Lemon Squeezy privacy](https://www.lemonsqueezy.com/privacy).

For activation, each app sends its licence key, app identifier, and a salted device digest to the Macmelon licensing service. The raw device UUID and serial number are not transmitted. This service verifies the purchase with Lemon Squeezy and stores the device activation under a hashed licence reference. We may receive order and license information needed to support your purchase, including your email, purchased app, order status, and a masked license reference. We do not store card numbers or full license keys in our customer dashboard.

## Your data in the apps

AccessWatch reads the macOS privacy log and permission pop-ups on the Mac. Your prompts, rules and history stay on the Mac and are never sent. It connects to the network only for the license check, the update check, and fetching current offers.

This website does not receive anything the apps read or change on your Mac.

## Cookies and local storage

Your theme, sound, and analytics preferences are saved in your browser. Optional analytics uses cookies only after consent.

## Children

The site is written for people buying and using Mac software. It is not directed at children.

## Changes

If this policy changes, the page changes. The date of the wording you are reading is the date on the [changelog](https://macmelon.com/changelog) entry for the site, when we record one.
